Meeting with you yesterday and hearing about your commitment and expectations for this trip only deepened my belief that you each are essential to the solution set that will over time strengthen the human condition. Wow. You are all about to embark on a very life changing experience. I am so proud to see some names that used to hang in my classroom closet many years ago in First Grade here at Gibbs School! I am so incredibly jealous of all te students going! To all of the students: LIVE IT UP seriously I think about it everyday and it was the best decision I have ever made To go on the trip. Also, LISTEN. Listen to every speaker you have and especially Shalmi. He is the most intelligent man I've ever met and I wished I listened more intently to him. Next, journal EVERYTHING. I wrote down every tiny detail including funny things people said or did and I read over them all the time an it makes me so happy! An lastly, open up to the people on the trip. I came to love each an every person on the trip and I miss them so much! Have an incredible, safe, fun, educational, inspirational, emotional trip and I will be following and commenting everyday! 🙂
